EWAA NEWS
We are pleased to announce a call for entries for the EWAA 2012 (East-West Art Award) competition. The deadline is 30 June, 2012 (23.59GMT) so please submit your entry early to avoid a last minute rush which may result in disappointment.
This is the third year for EWAA and we are looking forward to receiving more entries for great works as well as works with new challenge. We have set up a special category, ‘Contemporary – II’, which you can submit any works created by unconventional methods or expression. Our judges like works in which artists try to do something new.
Because we allow artists who live anywhere in the world if they hold passports with specified nationalities (see What’s EWAA for details) to enter our competition we received many entries from overseas in 2011, particularly from France, Finland, Germany, USA as well as Japan, South Korea and China and our official web-site was visited from 67 countries. We are expecting many more in 2012.
We had a great exhibition at La Galleria Pall Mall, London for shortlisted finalists 2011 and if your work is selected for the finalists 2012 you will be invited to exhibit (subject to T & C) at this prestigious gallery.

PROFILE PAGE
What is the Profile Page? It is a self produced home page device created by EWAA. Artists are able to produce and edit their own Profile Page by themselves easily with an online manual.
Artists can include their statement, exhibition records and gallery pages where they can showcase their works and sell them online.
All Profile Pages will be listed in the East-West Artists Directory (online) which will be promoted worldwide. Artists can use the Profile Page as their alternative homepage which can also be linked to their own web-sites if available.
If artists enter the EWAA competition, they can create their final entry packages in their Profile Pages and submit (transfer) to our selection site directly (If you do not have Profile Page we will do this for you). The Profile Page can be linked from each entry work shown at the selection web-site which will be useful for our judges to see more background of the artist.
