EWAA NEWS
We are pleased to announce this year’s call for entries into the EWAA (East-West Art Award) 2013 competition. The deadline is 11:59pm (GMT) on June 30th 2013. So please submit your entry(s) early to avoid any last minute rush, which may result in disappointment.
This is the fourth year of the EWAA competition and due to the success of our previous events, we are expecting more entries from abroad, especially from Japan, South Korea, China and the USA, as well as many countries in Europe. Our judges are always on the look-out for innovative artwork in which artists endeavor to incorporate something new, even in the area of the traditional arts.
This year, we will again be organising another “EWAA Group Exhibition” to raise money for charity. This will be held at La Galleria, (in London’s Pall Mall) between April 30th & May 4th. Application for entry to this show has now expired, but our online exhibition will continue until 31 December, and will be raising funds for charity. If you enter more than 3 works into this year’s EWAA competition, you will be allowed as a special courtesy, to also submit your artwork for sale, (up to 5 pieces free of charge) in the online exhibition and charity sale. Please click a banner on the left (EWAA Charity Exhibition) for more details.
Last year we were proud to have had an outstanding exhibition and Gala Presentation Evening for invited guests, judges and finalists of the 2012 EWAA Competition… This year, should your work be short-listed for inclusion into finalists of EWAA 2013, you will also be invited to exhibit, (subject to the T&C) in October, at this most prestigious gallery.

PROFILE PAGE
What is the Profile Page? It is a self produced home page device created by EWAA. Artists are able to produce and edit a package of profile and a gallery by themselves with a help of step-by-step online manual.
The package (we call Profile Page) can be produced with two languages (English and another language which can be chosen from Japanese, French, Chinese or Korean). Artists can include and edit their statements, exhibition records and gallery pages where they can showcase up to 25 works and sell them online. Another feature of Profile Page is to link to social networking media such as Facebook, Linked In, Twitter etc so artists are able to network at one place. We will present this Profile Page free for one year for those who enter more than three works into EWAA 2013 Competion.
All Profile Pages will be listed in the East-West Artists Directory (online) which will be promoted worldwide. Artists can use the Profile Page as their alternative homepage which can also be linked to their own web-sites if available.
If artists enter the EWAA competition and if they have Profile Pages, we will link from each entry work shown at the selection web-site which will be useful for our judges to see more background of the artist. However, this is not vital for judges' decision for making selection.
